Information
Ireland League Cup is divided into 6 rounds. The 22 teams of Ireland Premier Division and Ireland First Division will participate in the top 32. Except for the finals, all rounds must be rematched if they are tied in 90 minutes. The two teams will exchange home and away games. If the rematch is still tied, extra time will be required to determine the winner. If the overtime is still tied, the winner will be determined by penalty kicks. The final was played in the neutral field. The champion of Ireland League Cup can participate in next season’s UEFA Europa League qualifying round 1.
