The Greek Super League consists of 14 teams and is divided into a Regular Season phase and a Play-off phase. The Regular Season operates on a home-and-away double round-robin format, consisting of 26 rounds. Points are awarded as follows: 3 points for a win, 0 points for a loss, and 1 point for a draw. Tie-breaking Criteria (for teams with equal points in the Regular Season) If two or more teams have the same number of points, the following criteria are applied in order to determine the ranking: a) Head-to-head points (Points earned in matches between the tied teams); b) Head-to-head goal difference (Goal difference in matches between the tied teams); c) Goal difference (across all Regular Season matches); d) Goals scored (across all Regular Season matches); e) Number of wins (across all Regular Season matches); f) Away goals scored (across all Regular Season matches); g) Away wins (across all Regular Season matches). The top 4 teams enter the Championship Play-off. Teams ranked 5th to 8th enter the Conference League Play-off. Teams ranked 9th to 14th enter the Relegation Play-off. Championship Play-off and Relegation Play-off points: Regular Season points plus Play-off points. Conference League Play-off points: Half of the Regular Season points plus Play-off points. The Play-off phase utilizes a home-and-away double round-robin system within each group. Points are awarded as follows: 3 points for a win, 0 points for a loss, and 1 point for a draw. If two or more teams have the same number of points within a play-off group, the following criteria are applied in order to determine the ranking: a) Head-to-head points (across both Regular Season and Play-off matches between the tied teams); b) Head-to-head goal difference (across both Regular Season and Play-off matches between the tied teams); c) Ranking position achieved in the Regular Season (Higher-ranked team prevails). European Qualification & Relegation The 1st-placed team in the Championship Play-off qualifies for the UEFA Champions League Group Stage (or Main Phase). The 2nd-placed team in the Championship Play-off qualifies for the UEFA Champions League Qualifying Rounds. The 3rd-placed team in the Championship Play-off qualifies for the UEFA Europa League Qualifying Rounds. The 4th-placed team in the Championship Play-off and the 1st-placed team in the Conference League Play-off qualify for the UEFA Europa Conference League Qualifying Rounds. The bottom two teams in the Relegation Play-off are directly relegated.
